                              DHSGSU PGET (Doctor Harisingh Gour University PGET) is an entrance test conducted by Doctor Harisingh Gour University and is a gateway for admission to various PG programmes offered by the University. The entrance test grants admission to courses like MSc, MA, MCom, MBA, MJ, MLibISc, MSW, MPA (Theatre Art), MTech (Applied Geology), MPharm, MCA, LLM. DHSGSU PGET 2017 is now over, and the result of the same has been declared. It will now take place in 2018.

Eligibility
                         DHSGSU PGET 2018 eligibility is as follows:

• Candidates belonging to General and OBC categories should have cleared 10+2+3 or equivalent examination from a recognized University/Institution
• The candidate have obtained a minimum of 45% marks and 50% marks in the concerned subject OR
• The candidate should have secured CGPA not less than 4.7 in 10 point grade scale (0-9) or 2.5 in 7 point grade scale (0-6) or equivalent marks in the qualifying examination.
Exam Centres
                         DHSGSU PGET 2018 will be conducted at different exam centres. Candidates can choose their preferred test centre while filling the application form. The test-taker can check his/her admit card to get details about the final exam center allotted to him/her.

                         DHSGSU PGET 2018 is likely to be conducted at the following test centres: Allahabad,  Bhopal,  Bhubaneshwar,  Bilaspur,  Burhanpur,  Chhatarpur, Chhindwara,  Damoh,  Gwalior, Indore,  Jabalpur,  Jhansi, Kolkata,  Lucknow,  Mandla, New Delhi,  Neemuch,  Palakkad, Patna,  Raipur,  Ranchi, Rewa,  Sagar, Tikamgarh, Vishakhapatnam

                         Candidates must note that in case the number of students is less than 50 at any center, the University may shift the candidates to another nearest centre. Candidates must reach their respective exam centres at least an hour before the reporting time (as indicated on the admit card). Candidates new to the location are advised to check out the exam centre at least a day before the day of exam.
Exam Pattern
                          The pattern of DHSGSU PGET 2018 is as follows:

• DHSGSU PGET exam shall comprise one paper
• The duration of the exam will be 120 minutes (2 hours)
• The candidates need to attempt 100 multiple choice questions
• The paper shall be of 200 marks
• Marks will not be deducted for unmarked questions

Syllabus

                The syllabus will be in accordance to the subject/ model UGC syllabus of graduation level related to the course to which the applicant is applying.
Admit Card
                                 Admit cards will be issued to candidates who register successfully for the exam. The admit card will not be sent via post to the candidates, therefore, candidates will have to download the same from the official website when available.
Results
                                DHSGSU PGET 2018 results are generally declared within a month from the date of exam. The authorities prepare a merit list where candidates who qualify the exam are ranked according to the scores obtained in the exam. The result will be declared online and candidates can access the same by visiting the official website of the University. The below mentioned steps need to be followed to access the scorecard:

• Visit the official website
• Click on the ‘DHSGSU PGET 2018 Results’ link
• Enter the login credentials and access the admit card
• Download the result
• Take a printout of the scorecard for further reference

                               Candidates who qualify for the exam need to attend the counselling session. It must be noted that it is important for the candidate to be present in person with his/her documents at the time of counselling. Once the documents are verified, the candidate will be offered a seat in a course of his/her choice. To confirm the seat, the candidate needs to pay the required programme fee.
Counselling
                               The admission process commences right after the result of the exam is announced. Seats are allocated on the spot depending on the seats available in the subject group on the basic of merit.
Documents Required
                               The candidate needs to submit the following documents at the time of counselling:

• High School Mark sheet
• Age certificate
• Income
• Caste
• Intermediate (+2) or equivalent Mark sheet
• Intermediate Certificate (if issued)
• 10+2+3 mark sheet & degree
• Transfer Certificate
• Migration Certificate (if issued by the Board)
• Admit card of respective Entrance Test
• Certificate of Reservation (If any)
Application Form
                                    Candidates willing to appear for the University’s entrance test must ensure that they fill in the application form before the last date. Applications received after the deadline will be rejected.  General/OBC/PC categories candidates need to pay Rs 800 as the application fee and SC & ST candidates need to pay Rs 400 as the application fee. The relaxation on application fee will be applicable only after the provision of caste certificate.
