Anna University is a UGC
recognized technical university in the state of Tamil Nadu. It offers 31
undergraduate courses, 64 post-graduate courses and 3 research courses. The
University invites application for admission to M.Sc and M.Phil Programs
offered in the University Departments of College of Engineering Guindy and
Madras Institute of Technology Campuses, Anna University, Chennai-600025. One
must be a graduate in order to apply for M.Sc Program while for M.Phil.
program admissions, post graduates in the related field of interest may
apply. The application form can be filled online and the printout of the
completed application can be submitted either in person or through post. The
application form is common for both the programs. Completely filled-in
appliaction form must reach the university on or before May 8, 2018
(tentative). |

Eligibility Criteria
• You should have passed the Master’s Degree in the relevant field with
10+2+3+2 year’s pattern
• If you are appearing for final semester/year examination in April/May
2016, you may also apply for admission. |
| Application Process |
M.Phil/Ph.D in Arts , M.Phil/Ph.D in
Science & M.Phil/Ph.D in Engineering
The candidates must fill up the application form carefully. The
application form is common for admission to all M.Sc. and M. Phil. Degree
Programmes. The candidates can register through internet by logging on to
University’s website. The procedure for registration is available on Anna
University’s website; the candidates should fill in all the required details
while filling up the online application form. Then print the filled-in
application and submit it to “The Director, Centre for Admissions, Anna
University, Chennai-600025” with required enclosures and a Demand Draft of
Rs. 700/- for the general category and Rs. 350/- for SC/SCA/ST person
belonging to Tamil Nadu in person or by post. Last date for receiving
completed filled-in application is May 8, 2018 (tentative). The University
shall not be responsible for any postal delays. Applications received after the last date
will be rejected; the amount paid will not be refunded under any
circumstances. |
