SIMS
a top tier management institute is a constituent of Symbiosis International
University, set up in 1993. It is ranked amongst the top B-Schools in
India.
SIMS is one of the 10 or so B-Schools in whole of India including some IIMs
which has been conducting a full time Post Graduate Programme in Management
(PGPM) for the last several years. Started in 2009, full time PGPM, formerly
known as Executive PGDM, is a one year management programme (known generally
as Fast Track MBA), which is ideal for junior and middle level executives who
need a management qualification to boost and advance their career at par with
MBAs. SIMS provides opportunity to take Marketing, Finance, Operations and Human
Resource as specializations in its PGPM programme unlike other institutes
which offer only General PGPM programme. This offers a perfect opportunity to
switch careers.

| A
student seeking admission for the Post Graduate Programme in Management must
possess Bachelor’s degree from statutory/recognized University with minimum
of 50% marks and minimum 4 years of work experience as on May 31, 2018 after
completing graduation. |

Curriculum |
| The PGPM
course curriculum is divided into two semesters of six months each. Both the
semesters consist of Compulsory and Specialization courses. Students will
have to opt for any one specialization from Finance, Human Resource,
Marketing and Operations which will remain constant for both the semesters. A
particular specialization will be offered if a minimum of 10 students opt for
that specialization. |
