Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) authorities have
released the application form of GITAM GAT 2019 on November 12. Candidates
can fill the form after checking the complete eligibility criteria of GITAM
GAT 2019. The entrance exam of GITAM GAT 2019 will be for admissions to
various undergraduate programs offered at Bengaluru, Hyderabad and
Visakhapatnam campuses. The hall ticket will be available to download from
April 5 onwards. Candidates must go through the exam pattern and syllabus of
GITAM GAT 2019 to get an idea about the question paper. The result of GITAM
GAT 2019 will be declared on April 26. Candidates who qualify in the entrance
exam will be called for GITAM GAT counselling 2019 for document verification
and seat allotment procedure. |

| GITAM GAT Eligibility Criteria 2019 |
• Candidates must have passed class 12th or any equivalent exam
to be eligible for GITAM GAT 2019. They must have obtained at least 60%
aggregate marks in Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.
• Candidates seeking admissions into B.Tech Biotechnology are required to
pass class XII or equivalent with a minimum 60% aggregate marks in Physics,
Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology.
• Candidates who will be appearing for class 12 exam in 2019 will also be
eligible for appearing in the entrance exam.
• First Rank Holders of the central and all state board exams in 2019 will
be eligible for direct admissions without having a need to appear for GITAM
GAT 2019. |

Application Form 2019 |
Candidates can apply by filling up the application form of GITAM GAT
2019. The online and offline application process for GITAM GAT 2019 has
started. Candidates can submit the completely filled application form of
GITAM GAT 2019 till March 30. For offline mode, candidates can obtain the
application form by post from Director-Admissions by sending a request on
plain paper giving their names with complete mailing address accompanied by a
Demand Draft of Rs 150/- drawn in favor of GITAM payable at Visakhapatnam on
any scheduled bank. Applications can also be obtained from the selected
branches of the following banks throughout India

GITAM GAT Application Fees
Candidates can pay the application fee of GITAM GAT 2019 online
through net banking, debit card, credit card. No hard copy of the receipt of
the fee paid online has to be sent. The fees of GITAM GAT application form
can also be paid in offline mode through the demand draft. Candidates have to
send a demand draft made for Rs 1000 (Rs 600 for female candidates) drawn in
favour of "GITAM", payable at Visakhapatnam on any scheduled bank
to the following address:

| GITAM GAT Exam
Centres 2019 |
The exam centres of GITAM GAT 2019 are the prescribed venues where the
entrance exam will be conducted. Candidates will be required to reach the
exam centres of GITAM GAT 2019 on the day of the exam at the prescribed time.
GITAM GAT 2019 is scheduled to be conducted in 50 cities across the country.
In the previous year, it was held in 48 cities. This time, Bokaro,
Secunderabad, and Sambhalpur have been added in the list of GITAM GAT 2019
exam centres and Saifabad, Hyderabad has been removed.

| GITAM GAT Slot
Booking 2019 |
|
The slot booking process of GITAM GAT 2019 will start from April 5-7,
2019. During the slot booking process, the candidates have to choose their
preferred examination centre, date and slot by using the GITAM GAT 2019
online booking system. If the candidate fails to book his/ her slot before
the last date, then the system will generate the same automatically. All
candidates are required to book their slots otherwise the hall ticket will
not be issued. |
| GITAM GAT Exam Pattern 2019 |
|
Candidates are advised to go through the exam pattern of GITAM GAT
2019 to know about the types of questions, duration of exam, number of
questions, total marks and the marking scheme. GITAM GAT is an online exam
for a duration of 2 hours. The test consists of three sections of mutliple
choice questions. Each question will have four choices with one correct
option. Each correct answer will be awarded 4 marks and 1 mark will be
deducted for every incorrect response. |
| GITAM GAT Syllabus 2019 |
|
The syllabus of GITAM GAT 2019 is prescribed by the university for all
the candidates. GITAM GAT 2019 syllabus covers topics related to Physics,
Chemistry, and Mathematics. It is important for candidates to know the
complete syllabus of GITAM GAT 2019 to be able to prepare better for the
exam. |
| GITAM GAT Result 2019 |
|
The result of GITAM GAT 2019 will be announced on April 26, 2019 in
online mode. Candidates can check their GITAM GAT result 2019 by entering
their enrolment number and date of birth. Candidates will be invited for
admission on the basis of their GITAM GAT 2019 result. |
| GITAM GAT Cutoff 2019 |
|
The cutoff of GITAM GAT 2019 will be released by the Institute for
candidates to know the minimum marks required for admission to various B.Tech
programmes. GITAM GAT 2019 cutoff will be prepared by the admission authority
on the basis of the number of candidates appearing in the exam, the number of
seats in each programme, previous years cutoff trends and difficulty level of
the exam. |
| GITAM GAT 2019 Counselling |
The offline counselling of GITAM GAT 2019 expected to be conducted in
May will invite candidates for document verification and seat allotment
purpose. The procedure of GITAM GAT counselling is given below.
GITAM GAT 2019 Counselling Procedure
• Eligible candidates will be sent counselling call letters, which has to
be downloaded by logging into GITAM GAT account.
• The candidates will have to participate in choice filling and
locking.
• The candidate will also have to pay the non-refundable counselling fee of
Rs. 1000
• Candidates will have to report for counselling of GITAM GAT in person as
per the prescribed schedule
• The seat allotment of GITAM GAT 2019 will be based on the choices filled
by the candidate and their rank in the entrance exam
• At the time of reporting the candidate must bring along all necessary
documents, including the counselling call letter, for verification
• Upon successful document verification, candidates have to report at the
final allotted institute in person
• The candidate then has to pay the balance first-semester admission fee. |
