| GITAM GAT PGT 2017 - Gandhi Institute of
Technology and Management GAT Post Graduate Test (GITAM GAT PGT) 2017 was
conducted for M.Tech admissions offered at Visakhapatnam, Bengaluru and
Hyderabad Campus from April 16 to 30. The result of GITAM GAT PGT 2017 has
been announced on May 4. Admission procedure will be done on the basis of
candidates’ performance in the entrance exam. GATE qualified candidates are
exempted from GITAM GAT PGT 2017, but they have to apply in a regular manner.
The application process for GITAM GAT PGT 2017 has ended. The candidates will
also be able to download their admit card after successfully booking their

| GITAM GAT 2017 Application Form |
| The Application Form was available online and
offline. The last date to fill in the application form was March 31, 2017.
The process of application form is over now. The offline forms was available
from banks and Director-Admissions. To submit the form, the candidates had to
submit the application fee. The fee amount was Rs. 1000. However, the female
candidates have to paid Rs. 600. |
| The application fee was paid through Debit/Credit
Card (Master/Visa) or was collected from the Director- Admissions by sending an application with name and
address with DD of Rs 150/- drawn in favour of “Gitam University”. The last
date to send the application by post was
March 25, 2017. |
| Eligibility Criteria for GAT Exam 2017 |
| Candidate should have qualified 10+2 examination,
with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks. The same criteria for B.Arch
candidates are 50%. |
| In the 10+2 the core subjects of the candidates
should be Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. However, for admission in
Biotechnology, the candidates must have had Biology as the core subject,
along Physics and Chemistry. |
| The passing year, in the qualifying examination,
should either be 2017 or 2017. |
| For admission in B.Arch stream, the candidates
need to appear for NATA 2017 or JEE Main 2017. |
| GITAM GAT Exam 2017 Application Fees |
| Concerned about GITAM GAT application fees?
Application fee for Male candidates is specified by concerned authority is
Rs. 1000/- and for female candidate Rs. 600/-. |
| Candidates can pay the application form in the
form of Demand Draft in favour of GITAM University payable at Visakhapatnam. |
| GITAM GAT 2017 Exam Selection Process |
| The first thing candidates will have to appear in
a Computer-Based test in three different subjects separately. |
| Candidates will find questions from Mathematics
or Biology as per their reference in the first paper. Total number of
questions will be 40. |
| Questions from Physics will be asked in second
paper. Total number of questions will be 30. |
| Questions from Physics will be asked in third
paper. Total number of questions will be 30 |
| Exam duration will be of 3 hours. |
| Candidates will be awarded by three marks for
every right answer and one mark will be deducted in case of every wrong
answer. |
