| Lovely Professional University (LPUNEST) 2020 |
| Lovely Professional University is conducting National Entrance
and Scholarship Test (LPUNEST) for Under Graduate Lateral Entry aspirants.
Since its inception in 2009, more than 50,000 students are appearing in this
exam (LPUNEST) every year. This test will have twofold advantage as it will
act as Entrance Test as well as Scholarship Test. LPUNEST will be conducted
in online mode (Pen and Paper Mode test is not allowed) in two schedules
which are as follows: |

| After the registration process, the slot booking of LPU NEST
2020 has been started. The slot booking of LPU NEST 2020 for Schedule I has
been started from 1st December 2019 and for Schedule II will
be from 1st March 2020. |
| Candidates are required to select examination time and date. The
slot will be allotted in first come first serve basis. |
| It is necessary for the candidates to complete the slot booking
process to generate their admit card. The university reserves the right to
book slot as per availability of the test centers. |
| Eligibility Criteria |
| Nationality: Applying Candidates must be citizen of India. |
Applicants appearing for LPUNEST (B.Tech.) should have either
completed or shall be appearing in 2020, in final examination of 10+2 from
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi) or The Council for
Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE, New Delhi) or State Board or
any other Council, Institution, college etc. declared recognised by Council
of Boards of School Education (COBSE), New Delhi or any other concerned apex
body as applicable.
Pass with 60%* aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent (with Physics,
Mathematics and English)# subject to qualifying LPUNEST (B.Tech.)
*5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence
Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmiri Migrants.
*10% relaxation to outstanding Sports Persons (i.e. A/A+ category as per
Sports Scholarship), Subject to verification from Selection committee^ of the
University.
Note: - In case the applicant falls in both categories, then only one
relaxation in eligibility will be given.
Selection committee will be comprising of Head (DSW), Director Sports, Dy.
Director Sports, Concerned Coach and VC Nominee.
#For B.Tech. Biotechnology (BT), B.Tech. (Food Technology), B.Tech.
(Biomedical Engineering).
Subjects considered: Physics, Chemistry, English & either Maths or
Biology or Biotechnology; other things remaining same as above.
# For B.Tech. Chemical Engineering (CHE) and B.Tech. (Petroleum Engineering)
Subjects considered: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English; other
things remaining same as above. |
| For M.Tech Programme: |
| Qualifying Exam: Candidate should have passed B.E. or B.Tech.
or B. Arch. or B.Plan or its equivalent examination from recognized
board or university. |
| Qualifying Marks: Candidate must have obtained 60% aggregate
marks in the qualifying exam. |
| For MBA Programme: |
| Qualifying Exam: Candidate should have passed in Bachelors
degree (any discipline) or its equivalent examination from recognized
board or university. |
| Qualifying Marks: Candidate must have obtained 55% aggregate
marks in bachelor’s degree. |
| CAT or XAT or MAT or CMAT or NMAT and Interview OR Completed
Company Secretary (CS), CA & CMA qualified candidates can also apply. |
