SRMJEEE Counselling 2016 |
SRMJEEE 2016 Counselling schedule will be
published tentatively in first week of May. The counselling procedure of
SRMJEEE 2016 will be held in third and fourth week of May, 2016. Candidates
shortlisted based on their performance in the exam will be called for SRMJEEE
2016 Counseling to be held at the SRM University premises in Chennai, Haryana
and Sikkim. A merit list will be prepared based on the total marks secured in
entrance exam. Only this ranking will be intimated to the candidates and used
for Counseling Process of SRMJEEE 2016. Check complete details of SRMJEEE

Candidates can download and take a printout of
their SRMJEEE 2016 Counseling letter and counseling record, and appear for
counseling as per the schedule. Selected candidates will have to remit the
prescribed fees on confirmation of seat and acceptance of branch allotted. |
Required documents for SRMJEEE 2016 Counseling |
Candidates should produce the following documents
in original along with one set of photocopies while reporting for counseling.
Candidates will not be allowed to participate in the counseling process
without these documents- |

High School (Class X) marks sheet |
Marks sheet of qualifying examination (HSC) |
Demand draft for the amount specified in
counseling letter. DD should be drawn in favor of “SRMIST” payable at Chennai |
Candidates will be allowed to participate in
SRMJEEE Counseling Process 2016 only after verification of documents.
Authentic records pertaining to identification, age, marks sheet of
qualifying examination, community certificate (if applicable) and other
eligibility criteria will be checked. If a candidate fails to produce any of
these documents, he / she will not be considered for counseling. |
SRMJEEE 2016 Allotment of branch once made is
final and cannot be changed under any circumstances. Upon allotment, the
candidate has to submit all the original documents and also pay full tuition
fee for rest of the year. |
Eligibility Criteria |
The candidates applying for the SRMEEE 2016 must
check the eligibility criteria before applying for the exams. The eligibility
criteria are mentioned in details below: |
The candidates must be an Indian Citizen. |
The candidates should have passed the 10+2 or its
equal exam from the recognized schools having Physics, Chemistry and
Mathematics/Biology in their 12th. |
The candidates must have obtained a minimum of 70%
marks in qualifying exam. |
The candidates of PCM group will be eligible for
the all disciplines of B.Tech programme. |
The candidates of PCB group will be eligible for
the Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Biomedical, Genetic Engineering and
various Health Science programmes. |

should be aware of exam pattern the exam pattern is discussed below: |
The paper will of Objective type questions asked
from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics asked from the syllabus of class 11th and 12th. The
question will be asked in English only and there will be negative marking in
the question paper i.e. 1 marks will be deducted for wrong answer in Physics,
Chemistry and mathematics and 0.7 marks in Physics. |

Hall Ticket and Result |
The SRMEEE hall ticket 2016 will be available in
the month of April, 2016. Candidates can check their hall ticket through our
website, or they can also visit the official website for downloading the hall
ticket. The SRMEEE result 2016 will be declared by the university in the 2nd week of May.
The candidates will be called for the counseling as per their rank in SRMEEE
2016. |
