| STATE ENTRANCE EXAM (SEE) COUNSELLING-2016 |
| ADMISSIONS TO ENGINEERING AND MANAGEMENT INSTITUTION |
| Lucknow: Candidates who have qualified the state entrance exam
(SEE) for admissions to engineering and management institutions in the state
can register online on www.upsee.nic.in by using their application number and
password from June 24. |
| COUNSELLING PROCESS |
| FIRST ROUND |
The first round of counselling beginning from
June 24 will continue till June 30. After submitting the online fee,
candidates will be able to see the seats in different colleges thus starting
the choice filling process. From June 25, document verification will begin
and go on till July 1.
Candidates who have locked their
seats can visit any one of the listed centres (available on the website)
where document verification would take place. Seat allotment, along with
Freeze, Float and withdrawal options, will take place on July 3 and 4. A
candidate who is satisfied with allotted seat and does not want it upgraded
should choose the freeze option. A candidate who wants to confirm his
allotted seat and also wants it upgraded should choose the float option. The
withdrawal option is for when one is not satisfied with the allotted seat and
doesn't want to be considered for allotment in the subsequent rounds
either. |
| SECOND ROUND |
| Registration and choice-filling for second round of counselling
will be held on July 6 and 7 while document verification for candidates who
lock their choices in second round will be held from July 6 to 8. Seat
allotment will be held on July 10 and July 11. |
| THIRD ROUND |
| The third round of counselling will begin from July 13. While
registrations and choice-filling will take place on July 13-15, document
verification for candidates who lock their choices in the third round will be
held from July 13-16. Seat allotment will be held on July 18 and 19.
Registrations and choice-filling for the fourth round will take place on July
21-23. |
