| The entrance examination for degree level
engineering institutions and other professional colleges has been assigned to
Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow vide Govt.
order no. 136/सोलह-1-2020-14(54)/2012 dated
15-01-2020. The Govt. of Uttar Pradesh, Technical Education Department, has
consented for the constitution of Central Admission Board (CAB) under the
Chairmanship of the Vice Chancellor, Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical
University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow to supervise and control the State Entrance
Examination herein after referred as UPSEE-2020 being conducted by Dr A.P.J.
Abdul Kalam Technical University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow. The CAB has absolute
rights for conducting of UPSEE-2020, and to decide about modalities of
admissions and allotment of seats. The jurisdiction of CAB extends to
colleges / institutes affiliated to AKTU, Lucknow. The CAB is authorized to
take every decision regarding conduct and admissions through UPSEE-2020 |

| Eligibility Criteria |
Indian National candidates are eligible to
apply.
No age limit to apply for UPSEE 2020.
NRI, PIO, Foreign Nationals, Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries
& Kashmiri Migrants can also apply.
Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam are also eligible to apply. |
The subject combination required in the qualifying
examination (intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination
or its equivalent) for admission to first year of different courses shall be

candidates.For MCA, candidate must have passed Mathematics at 10+2 level or
Graduation level. |
| B.Tech – LE |
Engineering Diploma, B.Sc. Graduates with Mathematics
subject at 10+2 level. |
| B.Pharm – LE |
Diploma in Pharmacy candidates can apply. |
| MCA – LE |
BCA, B.Sc (IT/ Computer Science) degree holder are
eligible to apply. |
| Application Fee: |
The application fee for UPSEE is Rs. 1300/- for Male/Transgender
Candidates of General/OBC Category and Rs. 650/- for Female/SC/ST/PwD
Category.
Only online mode will be available to pay the fee.
Candidates can pay the application fee through debit card, credit card, net
banking and e-wallets. |
| Exam Pattern |
Exam Mode: The examination will be conducted through offline (pen
and paper based) mode.
Type of questions: Objective multiple type questions will be asked in the
examination except for drawing test.
Duration:
The exam duration will be total three hours.
Marking Scheme: Each correct answer will fetch four marks/five marks for
B.Arch. More than one answers for the particular question will be considered
as incorrect answer.
Negative Marking: There is No negative marking for incorrect answers. |
| Admit Card |
The admit card will be released from 27th April 2020. UPSEE
Admit Card will be provided through online mode.
It will contain details like Name, Father’s Name, category, sub-category,
gender, rural weightage, etc. In case of any correction in the admit card,
candidates must contact to the UPSEE helpline desk or contact through
Email.
Without admit card candidates will not be allowed to appear for the
entrance test. Candidates must bring any ID proof along with admit card at the
exam centre. |
