AMU BA LLB 2018: Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) will be conducting
its law entrance test, AMU BA LLB 2018, on May 28, 2018. The university
conducts AMU BA LLB 2018 for admission to the five-year integrated law
programme BA LLB. The application forms of AMU BA LLB 2018 will be available
online only from the last week of January, 2018. However, candidates can
submit the AMU BA LLB application form offline too. Held at the university level,
AMU BA LLB 2018 will be conducted in pen and paper mode or offline.
Candidates must note that the duration of AMU BA LLB test will be two hours
which will start sharp at 10am. The total seats for which the AMU conducts
the entrance exam is 220. |

| Eligibility |
• Aspirants must have passed 10+2 qualifying examination from
any recognised state board/ national board of education.
• Aspirants need to have scored at least 50% marks in aggregate of all
subjects under 10+2 qualifying examination.
• The age of any aspirant appearing for AMU BA LLB 2018 must not be more
than 22 years of age as on July 1 of the year of admission.
• Aspirants who have qualified with Bridge Course (Graduate of Deen
Madarsa) with at least 50% marks in aggregate are also eligible to apply. |
| Syllabus |
|
The syllabus for LL.M. will consist of Law of Contracts, Criminal Law,
Law of Torts, Constitutional Law and Legal Theory. Syllabus for B.A.LL.B.
(Hons.) include the subjects like English, General Knowledge (Current
Affairs, General Science, History, Geography, Economics, and Civics), Legal
Aptitude Reasoning and Marks Elementary Mathematics (Numerical Ability). |
| Admit Card |

AMU will issue the admit card of AMU BA LLB 2018 entrance exam at
least a week before the date of exam. Candidates must note that the AMU BA
LLB 2018 admit card will be issued in online mode only. AMU BA LLB 2018 admit
card will mention the candidate’s name and roll number, exam date and timing,
test centre details as well as candidate’s photograph and signature. It is
advisable to check the information mentioned on the admit card of AMU law entrance
exam 2018 before downloading it. In case of any discrepancy, candidate must
contact the controller of examination, Aligarh Muslim University. |
| Application
Form |
• Visit the official website of AMU BA LLB 2018 Application
form.
• Candidates, first are required to remit the application fee for AMU law
entrance exam 2018 using Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking or draw a
Demand Draft in favour of Finance officer, AMU.
• Register for AMU BA LLB 2018 with email id and mobile number.
• A user id and password will be sent on the registered email id and phone
number.
• Fill in the application form of AMU law entrance exam 2018 with details
including academic qualification, name of exam appearing for, exam centre
choice along with the personal details.
• Candidates will be required to upload the scanned copies of Photograph
and Signature as per the required dimensions for AMU BA LLB 2018 Application
Form.
• Submit the application form online or enclose it in an envelope and send
it on official address along with Demand Draft or fee receipt. |
| Result |
| AIU
will declare the results of AMU BA LLB 2018 in the month of July, 2018. Those
who appear for the coveted exam must note that the university will declare
the results of AMU BA LLB 2018 online. The results of AMU BA LLB 2018 will
mention the roll number and rank obtained by candidates. Candidates will be
shortlisted as per the minimum qualifying marks criteria or cut off of AMU BA
LLB 2018 set by the university. AMU BA LLB 2018 merit list will be released
thereafter which will include the names of those candidates who qualify for
the next round of admission. |
| Merit List |
| The
university will release the merit list of AMU BA LLB 2018 along with the
result in the month of July, 2018. AMU Ba LLB 2018 merit list will mention
the names, roll number and ranks scored of those candidates who are
shortlisted for the next round of AMU BA LLB 2018 counselling. The merit list
will be prepared on basis of marks scored by candidates in AMU law entrance
exam 2018. Aligarh Muslim University will publish separate merit lists for
provisionally allotted seats, for nomination category and for chance memo
category. |
| Counselling |
|
Aligarh Muslim University will conduct the counselling of AMU law
admissions 2018 to BA LLB programme for 22 seats offered at three campuses of
the University. The university will call candidates for counselling under
different categories – Nomination Category, chance memo category and
provisional seat allotment category. The candidates for each category will
have to attend the counselling as per the scheduled date and time for
document verification and reporting at counselling venue. The candidates who
fulfill the eligibility criteria of AMU BA LLB 2018 will be allotted seats. |
