Eligibility Criteria
                                                   All candidates who possess a Bachelor of Law (LLB three/ five years) degree from a recognized university in India or abroad fulfill Azim Premji University National Entrance Test (NET) 2019 eligibility criteria. It may be noted that “candidates with relevant work experience are strongly encouraged to apply,” informs the official website.

Reservation

                                                   The official website states, “25% of seats are reserved for students domiciled in Karnataka and are offered to candidates who have met all the selection criteria.”
Pattern
                                                   Azim Premji University National Entrance Test (NET) 2019 pattern is such that the exam will be divided into two parts. Part 1 will include 80 multiple choice questions (MCQs) that candidates have to complete in two hours duration. Part 2 will contain subjective questions including a legal essay. It may also be noted that Azim Premji University National Entrance Test (NET) is conducted in both online and offline modes. Candidates can choose the mode in which they wish to give the exam at the time of registration.

Marking scheme: Candidates are awarded one mark for each correct answer in the exam. There is no negative marking for a wrong answer in the exam.Note: SoP will not be evaluated. However, it will be reviewed at the time of personal interview round. Also, the number of questions asked in SoP section may vary each year.
Syllabus
                                                   Azim Premji University does not prescribe any official NET syllabus. However, the official website informs, “Applicants will have to appear for the National Entrance Test that will assess the Reading Comprehension, Reasoning Ability and General & Social Awareness.”
Admit Card
                                                   Once the application process is complete, candidates can download their Azim Premji University NET 2019 admit card from the official website of the varsity. Candidates can download their admit card by entering details such as their application number and date of birth. Once downloaded, candidates can take a printout of their admit card and carry it to the allotted exam centre. It may be noted that Azim Premji University NET admit card will contain complete details of the test centre and personal interview centre allotted. It may also be noted that admit card is a mandatory document to be carried to the exam centre. Candidates not having their admit card at the time of exam might not be allowed to appear for the exam.
Result
                                                   Once the written test is conducted, Azim Premji University sends NET results to candidates on their registered email IDs. Azim Premji University NET 2019 results are usually released in January/ February. Once received, candidates can download their result and take a printout of it. Azim Premji University NET result contains details such candidate’s name, qualifying status, marks scored, etc. All candidates qualifying in the written exam then need to appear for the personal interview round at the allotted centre. Candidates clearing the personal interview round will then be eligible to secure a seat in their respective courses on the basis of merit.
