Office
of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala conducts KLEE
2017 to offer admission to aspirants in law programmes offered in colleges in
the state of Kerala. Kerala Law Entrance Exam (KLEE) is a state-level
entrance exam on the basis of which CEE offers admission to shortlisted
candidates in law courses such as LLB 3 years, LLB 5 years and LLM in
Government Law Colleges and Private Self-Financing Colleges in Kerala. |

Eligibility |
As per the
eligibility criteria for KLEE only those aspirants can apply for LLB 5 years
course admissions who are Indian citizens. Apart from this, other eligibility
criteria that aspirants need to fulfill in order to secure admission in three
year LLB course offered in Government and other affiliated colleges in the
state of Kerala are as mentioned below:
Educational Qualifications
• Candidates meet the eligibility criteria for KLEE 2018 to secure
admission in LLB 3 year pogramme if they have:
• Graduated from any stream/faculty provided they pursued this course from
any University in Kerala or even from any other University which is
recognised by any University in Kerala as equivalent thereto.
• Cleared their Bachelor’s Degree exam with atleast 45% aggregate marks if
they belong to the General category. Candidates belonging to SC/ST category
are eligible for admission if they have secured 40% aggregate marks in the
qualifying examination.
Note: Aspirants who have given or are yet to
appear for the qualifying exam (that is, regular examination of academic year
2018-19) also meet KLEE 2018 eligibility criteria. However, such aspirants
are offered admission on provisional basis. Their admission will only be
confirmed if they submit their “Degree Certificate as well as mark lists of
all parts of the qualifying examination at the time of admission”, informs
the official website.
Age Limit:
There is no age limit for aspirants to apply for LLB 3 year programme on the
basis of their performance in KLEE exam.
Qualifying Standards in KLEE
The
official website of CEE, Kerala informs: “To qualify in the examination, a
General/SEBC applicant should secure a minimum of 10% marks in the Entrance
Examination whereas a candidate belonging to SC/ST category should get a
minimum of 5% marks”. |
KLEE 2018 Exam Centers |
KLEE 2018 test centres for LLB 3 year and LLB 5 year programme
admissions have not been declared yet. Given below are the test centres for
the exam for KLEE 2017 exam:
• Thiruvananthapuram
• Ernakulam
• Thrissur
• Kozhikode
KLEE for LLM course admissions is only conducted at Thiruvananthapuram. |

Results |
KLEE result is declared on the official website of Commissioner for
Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala. Candidates can view their result for
KLEE exam for LLB 3 years and LLB 5 years course admissions by clicking on
the ‘result’ link and going through KLEE rank list. When KLEE result for LLB
3 year course admissions is declared, CEE Kerala also releases a notification
that contains the name of KLEE topper as well as schedule for the subsequent
admission process. Candidates are also provided with an opportunity to go
through KLEE rank lists. The rank lists contain the name, roll number, score
and rank of candidates in KLEE entrance exam for admission in LLB 3 year
programme. Along with KLEE results for LLB 5 year course admissions,CEE
Kerala also releases a notification that contains the name of KLEE topper as
well as schedule for the subsequent admission process. |
KLEE 2018 Admit Card |
KLEE 2018 admit cards are available for download on the official
website of Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala. Candidates
are informed that the admit card for only those candidates would be issued
who have duly filled and submitted their KLEE application form. |

Counselling |
Once KLEE results are declared, candidates need to take part in
Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) conducted by CEE, Kerala for admission in
LLB 3 year and LLB 5 year programmes.
Centralised Allotment Process for KLEE LLB 3 year
Course
Candidates whose name feature in KLEE rank list for LLB 3 year course
admissions need to register their options on the official website of CEE,
Kerala. Thereafter, candidates need to navigate to ‘Three Year LLB 2018 -
Candidate Portal’ link, enter their application number and password and
finally register their options by clicking on ‘Option Registration’ link. The
official website of KLEE LLB 3 year admissions informs: “Candidates who fail
to register their options online will not be considered for allotment under
any circumstances. Options submitted to the Commissioner for Entrance
Examinations by Fax/Post/Hand delivery will not be processed or considered on
any account for the allotment of seats”. |
KLEE 2018 Application Form |
Candidates can fill KLEE application form online on the official
website of Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala. Candidates
need to submit their application form for KLEE entrance exam online itself.
No hardcopy of the registration form needs to be sent to CEE, Kerala’s
office. |
