| The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEE Board)
has released the exam dates for JECA-2016, which will be conducted on July
23, 2016.The examination is conducted to give admissions in the Master of
Computer Application (MCA) programme in various institutions in West Bengal
for the commencing academic session 2016. |

| Eligibility
Criteria |
All the candidates interested in taking the admission need to
have passed a Bachelor's degree from a recognised university/institute with
at least 60 per cent OR
The candidate should have a Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) from
institiute/ colleges recognised by All India Institute of Common Entrance
Examination (AICTE) with 60 per cent in mathematics at bachelor's level. |

| Selection
procedure: |
All the candidates will be selected on the basis of an entrance
examination
Paper pattern:
• The written test will consist of two papers namely; Mathematics and
Aptitude test
• There will be Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) type questions
• Each question will have four answer options of which only one is
correct
• One fourth of the full mark will be deducted for an incorrect
response
