| Eligibility
Criteria |
| Requisite qualification for D-Pharm course: |
• Pass in H.Sc.,/PDC/PUC (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, Botany,
Zoology or
Biology or Mathematics |
| Requisite Qualification for admission to B.Pharm
course: |
| • Pass in H.Sc/PDC/PUC (10+2) with an aggregate of 40% of marks
in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology) or Mathematics and also
English passed separately. In case of SC/ST/OBC, the minimum percentage of
marks for admission to B.Pharm Course shall be not less than 35% in P.U.C. or
its equivalent examination In P.C.B, or P.C.M. |
| Requisite Qualification for admission to B.Pharm
(Practice) course: |
• Pass in D.Pharm examination from PCI approved
institution.
• A registered pharmacist under the phatmacy Act.
• A Minimum of four years of pharmacy practice experience in a community or
hospital pharmacy.
I ). A certificate from competent authority starting that the candidate is
endorsed as registered pharmacist in authority Drug License of a pharmacy as
proof practice experience in case of community pharmacist
II ). A certificate from the Principal/ Medical Superintendent/ Competent
person of the Hospital / Health Unit stating that the candidate is working as
a pharmacist will be accepted as proof of practice experience inb case of
hospital pharmacist
III ). A no objection certificate from the employer |
| Requisite Qualification for admission to Pharm D.
course: |
• Pass in H.Sc.,/PDC/PUC (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, Botany,
Zoology or Biology or Mathematics
(OR)
• Pass in D.Pharm examination from PCI approved institution. |
| Requisite qualification for Pharm D. (Post
Baccalaureate) course: |
| • Pass in B.Pharm from the recognized University and approved by
Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi. |
| NOTE : Age: The candidate should complete 17
years of age on or before 31st December 2016 for admission to B.Pharm,
Pharm-D , D-Pharm and Pharm-D (PB) programmes. |
| Admissions
Procedure: |
1 ). Submission of the application form for entrance test /
admission by post or in person along with Photographs and other enclosures on
or before 17.06.2016 at 5.00 pm.
2 ). Selection will be made on the merit based on marks secured in
Qualifying examinations (10+2/PUC/HSC/ D.Pharm/B.Pharm etc.,) in relevant
subjects conducted by various Boards of Authority/ University and an entrance
examination.
3 ). The syllabus for entrance test for admission to B.Pharm , Pharm D and
D - Pharm programme will be at level of 10+2 / PUC examination in the
subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
4 ). The syllabus for entrance test for admission to Pharm D (Post
Baccalaureate) course will be on the basis of questions at III year and Final
year of B.Pharm course in the subjects Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics and
Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
5 ). The application form for admission B.Pharm , Pharm D and Pharm D (Post
Baccalaureate) B.Pharm Practice should downloaded from the Website of the
University should be accompanied by a DD for Rs. 1,000/- drawn in
favor of “JSS UNIVERSITY FEE ACCOUNT , Mysuru” payable at Mysuru.
6 ). The application form for admission D.Pharm should downloaded from the
Website of the University should be accompanied by a DD for Rs. 300/- drawn
in favor of “JSS UNIVERSITY FEE ACCOUNT , Mysuru” payable at
Mysuru.
7 ). The entrance test will be followed by counseling and admissions. The
data of entrance test, date of counseling will be announced on the website
www.jssuni.edu.in.
8 ). The Exam Center will be at MYSURU and OOTY only.
9 ). Admission of selected students to courses and colleges allotted during
counseling session. |

A candidate desirous of admission to the
B.Pharm, Pharm D. D-Pharm, B.Pharm Practice and Pharm D. (Post Baccalaureate)
course is required to complete the prescribed application form and submit in
either of the following ways:
• A candidate is required to complete the prescribed application form and
submit the same to the University on or before the scheduled date. The
downloaded and printed application form should be sent along with a
processing fee, only by way of DD favouring “JSS University Fee Account,
Mysuru,” payable at Mysuru along with the relevant documents.
• Candidates may also obtain the application form along with the Brochure
by sending a processing fee of Rs.200/- only by way of DD favouring “JSS
University Fee Account, Mysuru,” payable at Mysuru. The duly filled
application form should be sent to the University along with relevant
documents. With a processing fee, only by way of DD favouring “JSS University
Fee Account, Mysuru,” payable at Mysuru. |
