                                                    AISSEE 2020 is held for admission to classes VI & IX. Boys or (Girls in case of Sainik School Chhingchhip) who are between age 10 to 12 yrs and 13 to 15 yrs respectively as on 31st March of the year in which the admission sought are eligible to take the Entrance Exam. For Class IX Children should be studying in Class VIII  in a recognised school. Admission will be made strictly on the order of merit. If exam cannot be conducted on Scheduled date in a state/UT a seperate order will be issued to conduct Entrance Exam on another date fixed by Honorary Secretary.

Eligibility Criteria
• Boys or (Girls in case of Sainik School Chhingchhip) who are between age 10 to 12 yrs and 13 to 15 yrs respectively as on 31st March 2020
List of AISSEE 2020 Exam Center
• The list of AISSEE exam Sainik Schools: Delhi - Kunjpura, Chandigarh - Kapurtala, Tripura - Imphal, Lakshadweep & Mahe - Kazhakootam,  Puducherry & Karaikal - Amaravathinagar 
• Goa - Satara, Diu & Daman, Dadra & Nager Haveli - Balachadi, Meghalaya & Sikkim - Goalpara, Andaman & Nicobar Island - Purulia, Yanam & Telegana - Korukonda
• Candidates may be allotted another exam center other than the one chosen, in case there is no vacancy in the preferred one.
AISSEE 2020 Exam Pattern
Date of AISSEE Exam- Jan 5, 2020
• Medium of Examination for Class VI examinations will be in English, Hindi and  Regional Language and 300 will be Prescribed Marks for written examination.
• Medium of Examination for Class IX examinations will be in English only and 400 will be Prescribed Marks for written examination.
