Eligibility Criteria for GAT Exam 2016
Applicants must have cleared 10+2 or equivalent exam in the year 2014 and secured at least 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Maths and Chemistry. Remember, candidates must have passed the exam in the first attempt.
Applicants who are going to appear in class XII examination in the year 2016 are also eligible to apply for GITAM GAT Exam 2016.
Applicants interested for admission to B.Tech Biotechnology are must to clear class XII or equivalent examination and secured at least 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Maths, Chemistry and Biology.
Applicants those are interested to get admission to B.Arch are must to qualify in NATA exam 2016.
GITAM GAT Exam 2016 Application Fees
Concerned about GITAM GAT application fees? Application fee for Male candidates is specified by concerned authority is Rs. 1000/- and for female candidate Rs. 600/-.
Candidates can pay the application form in the form of Demand Draft in favour of GITAM University payable at Visakhapatnam.
GITAM GAT 2016 Exam Selection Process
The first thing candidates will have to appear in a Computer-Based test in three different subjects separately.
Candidates will find questions from Mathematics or Biology as per their reference in the first paper. Total number of questions will be 40.
Questions from Physics will be asked in second paper. Total number of questions will be 30.
Questions from Physics will be asked in third paper. Total number of questions will be 30
Exam duration will be of 3 hours.
Candidates will be awarded by three marks for every right answer and one mark will be deducted in case of every wrong answer.
