| The Baba Farid University of Health Sciences,
Faridkot, invites applications from eligible candidates for BFUHS Super
Speciality Entrance Test 2016 for admission to the Doctorate of medicine (DM)
and Magister Chirurgiae (M.Ch) Courses for the year 2016. All necessary
information regarding allocation of merit (based on SSET-2016) and seeking
admission to Super Speciality Courses in the DMC, Ludhiana affiliated to Baba
Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot and all applicable rules and
regulations, etc. |

| Eligibility and Qualifications: |
| • Eligibility and qualifications will be as per
Punjab Govt. Notification No. 5/6/2013-3HBIII/524462/1dated 01.07.2015 |
| • Candidate must not have crossed the age of 50
years on or before 1st January of concerned year, relaxable in case of SC/ST
candidates by a maximum of 5 years and for OBC Candidates 3 years. The upper
age limit is not applicable to sponsored/PCMS candidates |
| • Candidate must possess a degree in MD/MS from a
University recognized by the MCI in the respective discipline; major
disciplines are mentioned in 'Annexure-A'. |
| Scheme of Entrance Test: |
| • There will be no negative marking for wrong
answers |
| • Baba Farid University of Health Sciences,
Faridkot shall conduct Entrance test for admission to DM/M.Ch Courses at
Faridkot |
| • The question paper SSET-2016 (DM/M.Ch) will be
of 2.00 hours duration consisting 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
carrying 400 marks |
| • The candidates who secure 50% and above marks
in SSET-2016 will be eligible for Practical/viva of 100 marks and final merit
for admission will be prepared on the basis of SSET marks and practical /viva
marks taken together |
| • There shall be no negative marking. |

| • Last Date for Deposition of Fee of Rs 10,000/-
in University Account in OBC through Challan Form: 21st June 2016 |
